The Hill View School Local School Committee comprises individuals with a wide range of skills, knowledge and professional experience. Members work closely with school leaders to support the continued development of the school and to ensure that the needs of our learners remain at the heart of all decision-making.

The Local School Committee plays an important role in supporting and challenging school leaders to ensure the best possible outcomes for learners. This includes monitoring educational standards, pupil welfare, safeguarding, attendance, behaviour, personal development and the effective use of resources.

Working within the governance framework of The Oak Partnership Trust, the Local School Committee helps to:

• Promote high standards of achievement, attendance and wellbeing.
• Support the school's strategic priorities and improvement journey.
• Ensure accountability for educational outcomes and the quality of provision.
• Provide constructive challenge and support to school leaders.
• Champion the interests of learners, families and the wider community.
