At Hill View School, we are committed to promoting equality, diversity and inclusion for all members of our school community. Our Equality Objectives for the period 2025-2029 are:

Objective 1: Improve Attendance and Engagement

To continue to improve attendance and engagement for all learners through targeted interventions, individualised support and the removal of barriers to participation.

Objective 2: Promote Inclusion and Access to Opportunities

To ensure all learners have equitable access to the curriculum, enrichment activities, educational visits and wider school opportunities regardless of background, disability, sex, race, religion or belief, sexual orientation, gender reassignment or socio-economic circumstance.

Objective 3: Strengthen Learner Voice

To increase opportunities for learners to contribute to school improvement, decision-making and the development of school policies through structured learner voice activities and consultation processes.

Objective 4: Develop Understanding of Equality and Diversity

To further develop learners' understanding of equality, diversity, protected characteristics, respectful relationships and life in modern Britain through the curriculum, assemblies and wider personal development programme.
