Measuring and leading Careers
How the school measures and assesses the impact of the careers programme
Hill View School, in the first instance, measures and assesses its career-related learning programme against the Gatsby Career Benchmarks, with the support of Somerset Careers Hub and our Enterprise Co-ordinator. The impact of this programme is assessed through learner voice and feedback questionnaires. We regularly look to evaluate and review our offering and make improvements and adjustments as necessary related to the needs of our students, as well as LMI (labour market information) and developments in careers.
As our school progresses, we will also review our destinations data and track students once they leave Hill View School (post-16), ensuring that students continue to strive to aspirational outcomes and giving them further support if necessary.

If a student wishes to arrange a 1:1 CEIAG (Careers Education, Information, Advice and Guidance) appointment, they need to speak to Philippa. Alternatively, parents/carers can contact the school using the main office email address to organise a meeting.
Hill View School has the benefit of working closely with Somerset Careers Hub. Our Enterprise Co-ordinator (EC) at the careers hub is Emma.
